Every year, IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society (AP-S) holds a vote to elect the President-Elect and members of AP-S Administrative Committee (AdCom).

Being a large professional society within IEEE, a recognized international organization representing the field of antennas and propagation, the decisions of AdCom have a significant impact on our technical field. AdCom shapes the strategic directions of AP-S, which impact on the management of our publications, our conferences, as well as all initiatives and activities. AP-S has a vigorous program of technical and professional activities including chapter/student branch events, distinguished lecturers programs, interest groups on humanitarian technologies, young professional networking events, educational grants, fellowships & awards, industrial forums, or standards development.

In recent years, the voter turnout in AP-S elections has been rather low, hovering at around 20%. AdCom is extremely keen to increase voting participation so that the elected members can better represent the society as a whole. We believe that increasing voter participation is a concrete step towards better society governance and larger impact.

As a first step toward this goal of increasing voter participation, we would like to invite you to participate in a short survey (about 5 minutes), with the aim of understanding your perception on voting in AP-S. The results will help streamline our voting process according to your valuable feedback.
