On behalf of the IEEE Computer Society Sri Lanka Chapter (IEEE-CSSL) Elections Committee, I am excited to announce the opening for nominations for executive officer positions and committee member positions for the term from April 2025 to March 2026.

Nomination Positions:

• Vice Chair (Chair-Elect)
• Secretary
• Treasurer
• Assistant Secretary
• Assistant Treasurer
• Editor
• Three additional Committee Members, who will be responsible for:
  • Women in Computing Activities
  • Student Activities
  • Young Professionals Activities

Please note that the current Vice Chair (Chair-Elect) for 2024, Prof. Pradeep Abeyagunwardhana, will assume the role of IEEECSSL Chapter Chair for 2025. The current Chair for 2024, Prof. Anuradha Jayakody, will serve as Immediate Past Chair. Additional Committee Member positions will be called at the AGM.

Nomination Conditions:

• Nominees must be a Member, Senior Member, Life Member, Fellow, or Graduate Student Member of IEEE, holding a valid IEEE Computer Society Membership under the IEEE Sri Lanka Section.
• Nominees may be required to provide additional verification documents such as employer ID, and graduate enrollment to confirm membership status if requested by the Nominating Committee.
• Self-nominations will not be accepted.
• Each nomination must be supported by at least two current IEEE Computer Society members of Graduate-Student member or higher-grade, belonging to the IEEE Sri Lanka Section.
• All nominations must be duly filled and submitted via the following Google Form by 11:59 PM on Thursday, 20th February 2025: Nomination Form.
