Greetings from the IEEE PES Students & Young Professionals Committee organizing IEEE Region-10 PES Mentoring Initiative 2024

IEEE Power & Energy Society is having its one of a flagship initiative called IEEE PES Mentoring Initiative in which Mentees and mentors are matched to each other based on area of interest and relevant profile & professional details using statistical tools by vfairs (https://ieeepescareercompassmentoring.vfairs.com/)  to ensure the best match. 

The registration will last till 3rd November 2024. Followed by that, the program will start on 4th November 2024 and the program will be completely virtual and virtual interaction with no limit on the number of meetings they can carry further till 30th November 2024, using an interactive vfair platform for the mentoring initiative. 

A notification of the utmost 2 mentos matched with mentees is sent to mentees by vfairs platform. Mentees can accept any one of the mentors, and notifications will be sent to the chosen mentors. Once notified, mentees can initiate virtual conversations using vfairs interactive environments with their connections. Please note that this program is intended for PES members of IEEE Region-10 (Asia and Pacific). Failure to create a profile will result in removal from the program.

Eligibility Requirements: 

Mentees should be of Student & Graduate Student Member Grade with active IEEE & PES membership.

Mentors should be Young professionals or Higher Grade members with active IEEE & PES membership with expected good holding in academia or industry. 

How to participate as a mentor or mentee?

To participate in the program, interested mentors and mentees have to register by 3rd Nov 2024.
