The 33rd Southern African Universities Power Engineering Conference (SAUPEC 2025) has been announced. SAUPEC is a flagship Southern Africa regional conference and sponsored annually by South African Institute of Electrical Engineers and technically co-sponsored by IEEE South Africa Section. SAUPEC brings together experts from the industry, academics and students in engineering, computer science and information technology to present research papers, network and expand the fraternity that has been built as part of the SAUPEC legacy.

This year’s event will take place on 29 to 30 January 2025 and will be hosted by the Department of Electrical Engineering, Tshwane University of Technology (TUT), Pretoria, South Africa. Thus, you are invited to submit high-quality research papers under the broad and specific technical topics of the conference.
