Good Day All,

The Trinidad and Tobago Bureau of Standards has released two sets of standards for public comment. 

The IEEE TT Joint Computer and Communications Society Chapter wishes to contribute to the development of these standards. We are asking our members to review the standards and comment on the shared comment form, which we will then forward to the TTBS before the deadline. 

The two standards are:

• Draft Voluntary National Standard related to Information Technology – Artificial Intelligence
  • TTS/ISO/IEC 42001:20XX – Information technology — Artificial intelligence — Management system
• Draft Voluntary National Standards Related To Information Security, Cybersecurity & Privacy Protection
  • TTS/ISO/IEC 27001:20XX – Information security, cybersecurity and privacy protection — Information security management systems — Requirements
  • TTS/ISO/IEC 27002:20XX – Information security, cybersecurity and privacy protection — Information security controls

I hope you will join the rest of the community in contributing to this important set of standards. The final deadline is September 30, 2024, so ideally, we would like to have all the comments by the end of September 25th that we may review and collate the information.
