The IEEE Power and Energy Society at the University of Manchester would like to invite you to our 12th annual Manchester Energy and Electrical Power Systems Symposium (MEEPS). The theme of MEEPS 2024 is "Powering Tomorrow: Opportunities for Innovation in Energy Systems."

The symposium aims to provide a platform for research students and young professionals in the power and energy sector to showcase their work and exchange knowledge with industrial experts and academics. Outstanding presentations stand a chance to win cash prizes of up to £600, sponsored by our industrial and academic partners.
Call for Abstracts
To be considered for oral presentations, abstract submission is required. This symposium welcomes contributions on all topics related to Power & Energy, including (but not limited to):
- Planning, Operations, and Economics of Future Energy Networks
- Advanced Technologies Applied to Power Systems
- Achieving Sustainable Development Goals in the Power and Energy sector
As the work presented in this symposium is not published, you are still able to submit your work elsewhere, or to present your work again! Hence, you can submit to us your abstracts on work that is already published or to be published in future conferences/journals.
Abstract submission deadline: 23:59 (UK local time), 21st September 2024
