NextGCom2024 Training School at Mountain Olympus, Greece (August 28-30)
The 1st Training School and Research Colloquium on Next Generation Communications (NextGCom) will take place in Litochoro (Greece) under the famous Mountain Olympus, the home of the twelve Olympian Gods from Greek mythology. 
The NextGCom 2024 event is co-organized by the one6G Association, the IEEE Communication Greece Chapter & the International Hellenic University (Greece). It is endorsed and supported by the IEEE Communication Society (ComSoc) Young Professionals, the IEEE Future Networks Initiative, the IEEE ComSoc Technical Committee in Information Infrastructure & Networking (TCIIN) and the IEEE Student Branch @IHU in Thessaloniki. 
The NextGCom event is open to all (researchers/students/academic staff/industry participants) with PhD/Early Stage Researchers being particularly welcome to attend and participate! The attendees will enjoy lectures from leading experts but, if they want, can present their research outputs (and receive constructive feedback). For this reason, on Friday (August 30) there will be a Research Presentation/Poster Session in which interested attendees can present their research work!

Highlights include: 
- Attend a program of Lectures by eleven (11) leading experts on Next Generation Communications. 
- Attendees have the opportunity (if they want, not essential) to briefly present their research outputs (and receive constructive feedback) and/or bring a Poster to showcase. 
- Authors of the best presentations/Posters will be invited to submit an article to a Special Issue of the IEEE Future Networks Tech Focus. 
- The event is excellent venue for dissemination of project results with a Panel on "Research proposal building & Dissemination of project results". 
- Combine the majestic Mountain Olympus, cultural attractions and serene beautiful beaches along the Aegean Sea. Visitors will enjoy the famous Greek hospitality together with fresh seafood and the excellent Greek cuisine. 
- IEEE ComSoc Young Professionals, the IEEE Communication Greece Chapter and the IEEE ComSoc TC Innovation Fund Grant will provide a limited number of grants in order to support and encourage the participation of PhD and Early Stage Researchers. 
A limited number of participants will be admitted (registration should be finalized as soon as possible).
