Dear colleagues and friends,

It is our great pleasure to gently remind you that the Joint International Conference OPTIM-ACEMP 2025, Electrical Machines and Power Electronics (OPTIM) & Aegean Conference on Electrical Machines and Power Electronics (ACEMP) will take place in Timișoara, Romania, from May 15th to May 17th 2025.

The IEEE-OPTIM conference has a 46-years tradition, the first edition being held in 1978. Since 1994 it has become an international conference with a continuous growth. In 2014 the steering committees of OPTIM and ACEMP conferences decided to jointly organize the two conferences, in order to increase international recognition, participation and reputation. The first joint event took place in Side, Türkiye, in 2015 and since then the OPTIM-ACEMP conference is alternatively organized each year in Romania and Türkiye.

In 2025 the Romanian town of Timișoara, European Capital of Culture in 2023, will be the host of the event sponsored by IEEE Industry Applications Society (IAS), IEEE Industrial Electronic Society (IES) and Power Electronics Society (PELS) and organized by Politehnica University Timișoara, Romania, Transilvania University of Brașov, Romania, Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania and Atilim University, Ankara, Türkiye.

Conference papers are expected to meet the IEEE standards in terms of quality and format, and to be presented at the conference. They will be submitted to IEEE Xplore Digital Library for consideration towards inclusion in this prestigious repository. From there, the papers would be made available to other recognized professional repositories for potential further adoption.

Important dates:
Special session proposals: September 14th, 2024
Contributed full papers: December 15th 2024
Notification of acceptance: February 15th 2025
Camera ready paper submission (Final submission due): March 15th, 2025
Deadline for early registration (Paper registration closes): April 15th, 2025
