Dear PES Members,

The IEEE Power & Energy Society invites its Members, Chapters and Committees to submit proposals for Cycle 2 of the IEEE PES 2024 Member-Driven Initiatives (MDI) program.

MDI Cycle 2 is now open to all regions except Region 10 (Region 10 funds have already been exhausted from the proposals through Cycle 1)  

The IEEE Power & Energy Society Governing Board has allocated a budget for 2024 Member-Driven Initiatives. The funding is available to all PES members, Chapters, and Committees. PES Members do not require Chapter approval, but coordination is encouraged. There is no minimum award size, the compact initiative of MDI will fund up to 500 USD and the full MDI initiative will be funded up to 2,000 USD. The Selection Committee will review each proposal and the committee members will be selected from PES Membership, Chapters Representative and Region Representatives. All the events must be scheduled with in 31st December 2024

Acceptance of notification ends by 30th September2024(CEST/CET)

Please note that access to the form must be requested through your IEEE email alias. Requests from other email addresses will not be guaranteed access and will be denied.
