Dear IEEE Estonia Section Colleague,

This year, the IEEE Estonia Section's traditional annual seminar will take place on September 6-7,2024, at Vinnistu Art Hotel (https://www.viinistu.ee/hotell): https://ieee.ee/event/ieee-estonia-section-annual-seminar-2024/

You may register until August 23, 2024. You will need your IEEE membership number to complete the registration.

Accommodations are on site, with 30 spaces currently reserved (in 2-person rooms).

The total number of participants is limited, and places will be assigned according to the “first come, first served” principle (based on entries in the online registration form).

Please be advised that by the end of this year, the new Chair of the Section should be elected. Starting from August 1, 2024, the call for candidates will open, and if you are interested in applying, feel free to send your bio and motivation letter to dmitri.vinnikov@taltech.ee  by August 16, 2024. During the seminar, a special session will be organized where all the candidates will be given a time slot to introduce themselves and their action plan as a SectionChair for the 2-year term (2025-2026).

Traditionally, you can submit suggestions for presentations/discussion topics during registration. The final agenda of the seminar will be available at the beginning of September 2024 at the following link: https://ieee.ee/event/ieee-estonia-section-annual-seminar-2024/ (Preliminary agenda is already available.)

The section's budget covers the costs for the Annual seminar for IEEE members, whereas non-members will cover their own accommodation and catering costs according to the registration information.

Each participant is responsible for their transportation. However, during registration, you can indicate that you plan to drive to the venue and can take colleagues along, and bring them back the next day.
