IEEE International Humanitarian Technology Conference - Bari, 27-30 Nov 2024

Caro collega,
a nome di tutti gli organizzatori, siamo lieti di estendere l'invito a partecipare alla IEEE International Humanitarian Technology Conference (IEEE IHTC 2024), che si terrà a Bari dal 27 al 30 novembre 2024. La conferenza si svolgerà in modalità ibrida e prevede quindi la partecipazione sia in presenza che a distanza.
L'IEEE International Humanitarian Technology Conference (IEEE IHTC) è una serie di conferenze interdisciplinari organizzate dalla Regione 8 (Africa, Europa e Medio Oriente), dalla Regione 7 (Canada) e dalla Regione 9 (America Latina e Caraibi) dell’IEEE. Stakeholders e parti interessate del settore pubblico e del privato, dell’istruzione, della ricerca e della società di tutto il mondo sono invitate a presentare i loro contributi incentrati sulla presentazione delle sfide per il cambiamento e la transizione energetica, storie di successo, lesson learnt, casi studio e innovazioni tecnologiche relative al raggiungimento dei Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) delle Nazioni Unite, ICT4D, e all’applicazione delle tecnologie nelle pratiche per intervento e soccorso durante le catastrofi umanitarie.
Alleghiamo nel seguito il call for paper e le altre informazioni utili, ivi comprese una lista (ancora non definitiva) delle Sessioni Speciali del convegno, sottolineando con piacere la presenza di molte tematiche a noi care e che saranno affrontate con la guida di stimati colleghi appartenenti al PES e/o all’Italy PES Chapter. CALL FOR PAPERS
We invite authors to submit high‐quality full papers reporting original and novel research results on all the above topics. Papers should be written in English, unpublished, and not submitted elsewhere. Full papers must be formatted as the standard IEEE double‐column template (word, latex). A maximum of 7 pages are allowed for each paper, including all illustrations and references.
Accepted papers will be published in the IEEE IHTC 2024 Conference Proceedings. Full papers presented and discussed orally will be submitted for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library.
