CALL FOR PAPERS
The Organizing Committee of The Regional Conference on Power and Energy Sustainability (RCPES), in collaboration with the IEEE Lebanese Section and the IE/PE/CAS/PEL Lebanon Joint Chapter, is pleased to invite you to participate and contribute to the Conference that will be scheduled during the Beirut Energy Week (BEW) on September 18, 19, 20, 2024.
The aim of the Conference is to bring together graduate students, scientists, engineers, researchers, academics, decision makers, and representatives from diverse industries to present and discuss recent developments and scientific research efforts and outcomes pertaining to energy sustainability and to achieving the UN 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.
BEW24 is a major energy event in the region that will be held under the theme of:
Energy Highways: Expediting Regional Cooperation
Prospective authors are invited to submit a one-page extended abstract electronically via RCPES@1618.energy. Abstracts will be reviewed in terms of their relevance to the scope of the Conference and the technical content.
Upon issuing the acceptance of the Scientific Committee, authors will be requested to submit the full paper, constituting typically 4-6 pages in standard IEEE two- column format. Presented papers (in person or online) will be published in the Conference Proceedings.
Authors of accepted papers will be admitted free of charge to all the sessions of the Beirut Energy Week 2024.

Abstract (or full paper) submission: June 30, 2024
Notification of Acceptance: July 31, 2024
Camera-ready Submission: August 31, 2024
RCPES Presentation Dates: September 19 - 20, 2024
