Call for Papers and Participation: IEEE RTSI 2024 Conference
Dear Colleagues,
This is to remind you about the upcoming IEEE RTSI (Research and Technologies for Society and Industry) 2024 conference, technically co-sponsored by the IEEE IES Italy Chapter. RTSI has been the flagship conference of the IEEE Italy Section for six years, and in 2021, R8 approved to elevate it to a R8 portfolio conference due to its industry focus.
The primary objective of RTSI is to facilitate collaboration between researchers and industry professionals in various technical fields covered by IEEE. The conference aims to:
- Foster partnerships and cooperation between academia and industry.
- Enhance awareness of how engineering and technology can improve quality of life.
- Facilitate dialogue between the research community and government agencies on effective research policies.
- Disseminate the latest advancements, discoveries, and innovative applications.
- Encourage cooperation among researchers in different fields.
RTSI will feature tutorials, panels, technical sessions, special sessions, workshops, student competitions, and an exhibition. It provides an excellent platform for companies involved in IEEE's technical fields to showcase their activities, engage with stakeholders, and contribute to national and international discussions.
Prospective authors are invited to submit papers (4-6 pages in standard IEEE two-column format) via EDAS at https://www.edas.info/
Submitting a paper implies the authors' intention to register and present their content at the conference. Accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library.

- Deadline for Tutorial Proposals: May 17, 2024
- Deadline for Submission of Papers: May 27, 2024
- Notification of Acceptance: June 14, 2024
- Deadline for Submission of Camera-Ready Papers: June 30, 2024
- Early Registration Deadline: July 5, 2024
The conference will take place at POLITECNICO DI MILANO POLO TERRITORIALE DI LECCO, situated in the charming city of Lecco, located on the southeastern branch of Lake Como, amidst the picturesque Orobian Pre-Alps.
