5TH  INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ELECTRO-COMPUTING TECHNOLOGIES FOR HUMANITY (NIGERCON 2024)

IEEE NIGERCON  is the IEEE Nigeria Section flagship conference on the section that provides a platform for academia and industry professionals from all over the world to share ideas, present their latest research and to network. The conference covers the full spectrum of IEEE activities. The conference is held once every four years.

The 5th IEEE NIGERCON is co-sponsored by IEEE Region 8 and IEEE Nigeria Section and will be hosted by Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti from 26th-28th November, 2024.

The theme for our 5th International Conference on Electro-Computing Technologies for Humanity (NIGERCON 2024) emphasizes the role of electro-computing technologies in shaping the future and improving the quality of life for humanity. It encourages discussions and presentations on innovative research, developments, and applications in the field that have the potential to revolutionize how we live and interact with the world. The focus is on how these technologies can empower individuals, communities, and societies, and contribute to a sustainable and inclusive future.

1. Sustainable Energy Solutions: Exploring the role of electro-computing technologies in developing sustainable and efficient energy solutions.
2. AI and Machine Learning: Discussing the advancements in AI and machine learning and their applications in various fields.
3. Cybersecurity in the Digital Age: Addressing the challenges and solutions in ensuring cybersecurity in the era of electro-computing technologies.
4. Healthcare Technology Innovations: Showcasing the impact of electro-computing technologies on healthcare, from telemedicine to AI diagnostics.
5. Smart Cities and Infrastructure: Understanding how electro-computing technologies are shaping the cities of the future.
6. Education and E-Learning: Discussing the transformation of education through digital platforms and e-learning solutions.
7. Data Science and Big Data: Delving into the role of data science in harnessing big data for actionable insights.
8. Internet of Things (IoT): Exploring the potential of IoT in connecting and automating various aspects of daily life.
 

Key Dates:

Deadline for Call for Papers: 15th June 2024
Full Paper Submission: 13th August 2024
Camera Ready: 27th September 2024

Accepted and presented full papers (4 to 6 pages) for IEEE NIGERCON will be included in IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting & Indexing (A&I) databases. IEEE NIGERCON 2024 will be the perfect stage to promote research from all across the world.
