Here are the key details:
- Phase 1: Virtual
Phase 2: Grenoble, France (Finals) during the IEEE R8 Student & Young Professional Congress 2024
Your mission is to develop technology-driven solutions to real-world challenges in your home country, focusing on Education, Clean Water & Sanitation, and Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure.

Registration Period: 22nd of April - 7th of May.
Note: Only 1 member per team has to register and indicate details of the other team members
Participation requirements are as below:
1. It only requires an amazing idea to be involved!
2. Students, Graduate Students, and Young Professionals from Region 8 Only [Middle East, Africa and Europe] can participate.
3. Participants should be in teams of 2-4 members.
4. At least one of the team members to be a SIGHT member and one to be registered in SYP Congress.
5. Each team must be linked to one OU (SIGHT Group / Section / Student Branch).
6. Each team can submit up to 3 solutions for different areas (only the best one counts). The 3 focus challenges are; Quality Education, Clean Water & Sanitation, and ICT and Digital Connectivity for Industry.
Important notice: Make sure that one team member registers for R8SYP. One member should belong to the SIGHT group (SIGHT Tunisia group or SB SIGHT).
