Reminder: OVERVIEW of EMC STANDARDS
Overview of EMC Standards
The Southeast MI Chapter of the IEEE EMC Society will host a Virtual Chapter Meeting on 4/18/24 along with a half dozen other EMC Chapters from Sections from our Midwest IEEE Region 4. All West MI IEEE members including students are invited to also register and ZOOM in this Thursday. Please register and use the ZOOM link below. You need not be a member of our West MI EMC Chapter to attend (although we would like to see you consider joining this growing local technical group).
Next month, Friday May 3rd, our local IEEE EMC Chapter will be presenting a prerecorded (Rohde and Schwartz) presentation from last December on Phase Noise in RF oscillators. This will immediately follow the regular monthly business/social meeting of the Grand Rapids Amateur Radio Association. We will use ZOOM for those not physically present at the GRARA meeting which IEEE members are cordially invited to attend (we will be discussing June Field Day operation and the upcoming Dayton Hamvention). The GRARA business meeting will start at 7 P.M. and the R&S Phase Noise presentation will start at 8 PM. The location for those attending in person will be the lower level of the former Red Cross building 1051 Fuller NE in Grand Rapids. Look for another E-notice in a week or two with further details.
