INVITE: Seminar on Radio Frequency Fundamentals - Tues 4/9

Greetings, IEEE members …

This is your cordial invitation to join a comprehensive All Day Seminar on Radio Frequency Fundamentals – a no-cost event, including a complimentary lunch, co-sponsored by the Rohde-Schwarz Corporation and IEEE Boise. Founded 90 years ago, Rohde-Schwarz has expanded worldwide over time, today including innovative divisions ranging from electronic test and measurement equipment to quantum computing to cyber-security.

This event, presented by Rohde & Schwarz experts, will start with a refresh on the basics of RF and will then work its way through transmission characteristics, signal models, thermal noise, and phase noise. Finally, the presenters will review the basics of digital modulation, including IQ representation and constellation diagrams.

To secure your spot at this regionally important event, located at Hampton Inn in Boise ( 7499 West Overland Rd)  please visit the link below and register soon, and note that all ‘RF-interested’ folks are welcome --- from area students to professionals now involved with RF. Lunch is provided and the parking is free!
