An IES Day, with online and local events, will be organized to celebrate IES and engage our community!

The Society changed its name into IEEE Industrial Electronics Society in 1982. IECON 1982, which started on 15 November 1982, was the first annual conference for the Society with the current name.

All the IES community is invited to virtually/locally gather to celebrate the first IES annual conference each year on a day of the week including 15 November: it will be the IES Day!

The first edition of the IES day will be on 14 November 2024. Virtual/Local events will be organized around this IES Day. An open call for events will be launched soon.
