Reminder: IEEE India Philanthropy 'WIE - Scholarship" funded by Quest Global
Dear Members,
IEEE India Philanthropy is happy to announce the "IEEE WIE Scholarship'' funded by the CSR initiative of "Quest Global'' for 325 female students across the selected locations of Karnataka, Kerala, and Maharashtra. Female students whose family income is less than 5 lakhs, marks equivalent to 60%/C grade/ equivalent grade with no pending backup papers of previous years or semesters, and the priority courses would be Mechanical, Aeronautical, Petroleum, Chemical, CSE, IT, & EEE. The deadline for registering for the WIE scholarship is 29 Feb 2024. The offering of scholarship includes Rs. 50,000 to pay the college fee (tuition and related fees), Access to two courses in the IEEE blended learning platform,10 - 12 learning and mentoring sessions from industry & academia professionals, Engagement in philanthropy initiatives of IEEE, Networking with professionals and placement linkage support.
- Locations in Karnataka include Bangalore and Rural Bangalore North Karnataka: Bagalkot, Bijapur, Gadag, Dharwad, Haveri, Belagavi, Bellary, Bidar, Kalaburagi, Koppal, Raichur, Vijayanagara, and Yadgir Dakshina Kannada: Mangalore, Sullia, Puttur, Ullal, Belthangady, Moodabidri, Bantwal and Kadaba Chikmagalur, Madikeri, Shimoga, Mysore, Hassan, Tumkur and Kolar.
- Locations in Kerala include Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, and Alleppey.
- Locations in Maharashtra include Pune city and district, Shivapur, Manchar, Talegaon, Alandi, Lonavala, and Baramati.
