Call for nomination for 2016 IEEE PES Outstanding Engineer Award is now open. Nominations for the Outstanding Engineer Award are accepted from IEEE Queensland Section engineers who contributed to the power engineering profession. The outcome will be announced late November 2016. The award rules and nomination forms can be downloaded from links below. Nomination form should be emailed to PES chapter chair at nilesh.modi@aemo.com.au before COB 7^th of October 2016 (Friday).

Background of the award:

The IEEE QLD PES chapter established ‘Outstanding Engineer Award’ in 2010, which is aimed to recognize outstanding technical, professional and society contribution on behalf of the power and energy profession. This award has been given each year starting from 2010. Special plaque of “IEEE Power & Energy Society of Queensland Outstanding Engineer Award” is presented to the recipient by the chair of the IEEE QLD PES chapter.
