Idaho Future City - volunteer judges
The IEEE Boise Section and IEEE Boise Power & Energy Chapter are proud to join together to be a platinum sponsor of the Idaho Regional Future City Competition this year. We are sponsoring the special award for the best design of a city power system with 100% “Net-Zero” emissions sources..
The Future City™Competition, in its 31st year nationally and 20th year in Idaho, is a free educational program for sixth, seventh and eighth-grade students run entirely by volunteers throughout the state.
We will have a team of IEEE judges for the competition. If you would like to help judge, please contact Milorad Papic at mpapic@ieee.org . The time commitment is about four hours. Judging will take place during the morning of competition day, Saturday, January 20th 2023. Judges will have the opportunity to interact with the teams individually, observe their model and interview the students. Judging will be in person at Boise State University.
