COMSNETS is a premier international conference dedicated to advances in Networking and Communications Systems. The conference is a yearly event for a world-class gathering of researchers from academia and industry, practitioners, and business leaders, providing a forum for discussing cutting edge research, and directions for new innovative business and technology.

The conference will include a highly selective technical program consisting of submitted papers, a small set of invited papers on important and timely topics from well-known leaders in the field, and poster session of work in progress. Focused workshops and panel discussions will be held on emerging topics to allow for a lively exchange of ideas. International business and government leaders will be invited to share their perspectives, and will complement the technical program.

CALL FOR POSTER SESSION

The COMSNETS 2024 Poster Session is a forum to showcase preliminary/ongoing work in the area of computer networking and communications. COMSNETS being the premier venue for networking research in India and abroad, attracts a lot of researchers from both academia and industry. Therefore, poster presenters will benefit from lively discussions and critical feedback on their work in progress. In addition, all submissions will get detailed reviews from the poster reviewing committee.

Accepted posters will be published in the conference proceedings.

POSTER SUBMISSION

Poster submissions can be a maximum of 4 pages (minimum of 3 pages) + 1 page for references. It should contain the motivation for the research problem, the solution approach, and analytical or empirical results if any. The submission must use the same template as that of the conference.

DEMONSTRATION SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Research Demos: The authors are requested to submit an extended abstract no longer than three pages including all figures and references, describing the demo and any special requirements. The formatting must adhere to the Main Conference Guidelines. Submissions not adhering to the conference template will be rejected without review. Submissions must be in PDF format.


Product & Startup Demos: The authors are requested to submit a proposal no longer than three pages that outline the motivation, technologies, and use cases that will be demoed.

COMSNETS 2024 Graduate Forum is a supportive environment for students enrolled in graduate programs ( Master's & Ph.D. ) to showcase early-stage research in areas related to communications, systems, and networking at COMSNETS, the premier conference that brings together networking researchers from both academia and the industry. COMSNETS 2024 Graduate Forum will provide students with useful feedback on their current research as well as future research directions from experienced researchers, and the opportunity to interact with eminent researchers from both academia and industry. All submissions will receive detailed reviews from the review committee.

Accepted submissions will be published in the conference proceedings (unless the author requests otherwise). 

GRADUATE FORUM PROPOSAL SUBMISSION

We encourage the authors to submit their proposals with the following as a single PDF file at EDAS containing:

  • Resume, a one-page resume informing your current position, educational details, the broad area of research, internship experiences, publications (if any), etc.
  • A three-page Extended Abstract, for example, explaining the problem statement, relevant state-of-the-art, proposed solution approach, preliminary results, future work, and bibliography. Submissions must be written in English, in IEEE two-column format (details can be seen in the main conference page) and should adhere to the submission guidelines of the COMSNETS. The page limit is three pages (strictly) and no additional page will be allowed.

It is suggested that the prospective authors should merge all of the above submission (resume and three-page abstract) files into a single PDF document and upload the PDF file at EDAS.
