IEEE R9 Students Important Announcement

Hello R9 Students,

It is great to be in contact with you again in 2023. Last year, we ended with a huge event! The Student Branch Regional Meeting (SBRM) was a blast for me and for all the participants. All the learning, experience and new contacts made in Mexico I know will last forever.

During the SBRM 2022, four Sections submitted their proposals for hosting the 2023 SBRM edition. From those four proposals, the attendees of the event voted for the best two. Then it was requested from the Sections to provide more information about quotes and other details. This information was evaluated and then a Section was elected to become the host of the SBRM 2023 edition.

It is a pleasure for me to announce that the Host for the SBRM 2023 edition is:

Colombia
