Call for Volunteers. We are recruiting for volunteers to help with organizing technical talks, and helping with some of our on-going projects including (but not exclusively) Humanitarian Projects, mentoring students and new grads, and running affinity groups such as the Consulting Network. There is some online training for some positions - see here. Please contact me at jim.kozlowski@ieee.org if you are interested.

IEEE Student Members: Please note that the IEEE Canada Foundation provides scholarships to students in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering or a Technology programme, for their final year of undergraduate studies. IEEE student branch counsellors  nominate students for these scholarships. Requirements and scholarship amounts vary, usually starting at $500 up to $5000. Also, larger student team projects are eligible for grants. More details on requirements here: http://www.ieeecanadianfoundation.org/EN/grants.php
