We need your help to recognize outstanding engineers in our area.

We all know someone who is making significant contributions to the power & energy industry, whether through technical, academic, or leadership-based contributions. Here is a great opportunity to honor her or him with a nomination for one of the IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES) Chicago Chapter Outstanding Engineer Awards.

The IEEE PES Chicago Chapter will be making two awards, one for the 2022 Outstanding Engineer with less than 15 years of experience and the second for the 2022 Outstanding Engineer with 15 or more years of experience. The "less than 15 years of experience" award is for engineers who received a bachelor degree in engineering or related field after 2007. Those who pursued graduate degrees are still eligible for the "less than 15 years of experience" award, but the time clock begins the year the bachelor degree was received.

The recipients will receive personal recognition, a $500 monetary award, and an award plaque.

The deadline for nominations is February 24th, 2023. Seize the opportunity. Start your nomination today.

Also, please consider forwarding this to others in your organization and encourage them to recognize engineers who are doing an outstanding job.

Visit our homepage to access the required nomination form posted on the Resources tab.

Listed below are previous recipients of the IEEE PES Chicago Chapter's Outstanding Engineer Awards. Help us recognize outstanding engineers in our area by committing to nominate a colleague today!

Thanks,
