IEEE International Humanitarian Technology Conference 2022 (IHTC 2022) is a multi-regional conference series rotating between Region 7 (Canada), Region 8 (Africa, Middle East and Europe), and Region 9 (Latin America and Caribbean).

The theme of IEEE IHTC 2022 is “Humanitarian Technology for sustainable communities” with emphasis on policies, practices, and technologies aimed at building resilient communities. IEEE IHTC 2022 is a unique conference that will focus on humanitarian applications of technologies, aligning with Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nation: Mainly, sustainable development of communities, health, disaster mitigation and management; and engineering education with an emphasis on humanitarian issues. The conference will feature outstanding keynote speakers, workshops, a student poster/project competition, and peer-reviewed papers.
