IEEE NWF Section - 2022 Emerald Coast Electrathon Classic

This year, 2022,  your IEEE NWF Section sponsored the 2022 Emerald Coast Electrathon Classic 120 at the Pensacola Five Flags Speedway.

Much thanks to past Chairman, Vaughn Nichols for leading the effort to organize and manage the Electrathon this year.  He was able to garner support from the Five Flags Speedway to sponsor the event.  Other sponsors included ASHRAE, Florida Power&Light, and Sun Farms Inc.  As far as we know, this is the only Electrathon event held at an official raceway track.

Thank you, IEEE NWF section members for supporting this event.  After reading the news release below, you will realize how valuable this competition is to further technology and incorporate actual STEM activities at the high school, college, and private level.
