LOCATION

The Grand Lady dock is located 7 miles southwest of downtown Grand Rapids at the Steamboat Park Campground next to Riverview Airport in Jenison. The address is 825 Taylor St, Jenison, Michigan 49428. Free parking is available at the boat landing.

CRUISE

Grand Lady boarding begins at 6 PM. Your password for boarding is "Larry Postema". We will probably start out seated on the upper deck but both decks are available. All seating is 'open'. No holding tables. She leaves the dock at 6:30 PM to cruise the Grand River and returns at 8:30 PM. Attire is casual. You may bring your own food, but no large coolers. Small coolers must be stowed at your seat/table. You may not bring beverages, this includes water. You may purchase beverages and snacks on board at your own expense. Onboard live music will be provided by Tom & Cherie Hagen.

GRAND LADY FAQs

The Grand Lady can accommodate 144 passengers. She has two 12 ft stern paddlewheels, two decks protected from weather, and a sound system for live music. Restrooms are available on the lower deck.

REGISTRATION

We have reservations for 25. The event is free for actively registered IEEE Members. Those members who register for the cruise may also register 1 or 2 guests. The fee for member guests is $19. When registering a guest, include their name, but enter your (member) phone number in the guest phone number field so that the guest can be identified as yours. An IEEE Member Number is required at registration as well as the $19 fee for each guest (payable by credit card/Paypal). Extra guests can always be booked directly with the Grand Lady, of course.

Registration ends at 3 PM, July 29, 2021 or when the event is full. Attendance is limited, only 7 seats remain, so please register ASAP at:
