Call for Volunteers – collaboration with STEM Inc. Science Centre Singapore

Dear IEEE Members,

We are collaborating with STEM inc. Science Centre Singapore to encourage students in secondary schools to take an early interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) subjects, so that they will consider a future in pursuing further studies and related careers later in life.

In our first collaboration, we are seeking 35 volunteers to be involved in the “Shell STEM Youth Innovation Challenge 2015” organized by STEM Inc. Science Centre Singapore and funded by Shell.

If you are interested in volunteering your time, and have the passion to engage with the younger generation, please send an email to Fanny Su (f.su@ieee.org) at IEEE Asia-Pacific Ltd no later than 28 Jan 2015.  She will be compiling the list of volunteers for this collaboration with STEM Inc. Science Centre Singapore.

More information on the scope of the “Shell STEM Youth innovation Challenge 2015” and the roles of volunteers can be found at the Singapore Section website:  http://www.ieeesingapore.net/

Yours Truly,

Alphones Arokiaswami
