Dear IEEE Fellow/Senior Member,

As you know, IEEE Bangalore Section is one of the most vibrant section with multiple technical activities happening in any given month.

One of the goals of IEEE Bangalore Section is to assist all the eligible regular members to get elevated to Senior Member Grade. The SIMPLE program from IEEE Bangalore Section is designed to address this while facilitating active networking and knowledge sharing opportunities at the same time.

In this regard, we have a request for all the IEEE Senior Members. We need your help in providing the references for the eligible members. We have received an excellent response for the past SIMPLE events and we need your support to help us in assisting members with references.

If you are willing to provide references on a bi-monthly basis to the eligible members for the rest of the year (Max of 4 times in this year), please share your contact details and IEEE membership number at:

We will provide two references to eligible members and they will reach out to you with their profile and achievements details. You will get an e-mail notification from IEEE for each reference.  You have to log in to IEEE website and fill in the referral details for the members. 

We will ensure that each of you will get a max of 2 references every trimester.
