We are glad to inform you that the IEEE MNIT WIE Student chapter, in association with IEEE MNIT Student Branch, is organizing an invited talk on “Advanced Options for Harnessing Solar Energy” by Dr. Ravita Lamba, Assistant Professor at the MNIT Jaipur, India.
There is no registration fee however prior registration is required. This invited talk will be held in offline mode. E-certificate will be provided to all registered participants.

Dr. Ravita Lamba is presently working as Assistant Professor in Department of Electrical Engineering, MNIT Jaipur. She completed her Ph.D in 2018 and M.Tech. in 2014 from Centre for Energy Studies, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. She was a visiting researcher for the year 2017-2018 at the University of South Florida, FL, USA to carry out research work on radiative cooling systems for building space conditioning. She has also been awarded the SERB International Research Experience (SIRE) fellowship for the year 2022-2023 supported by the SERB, DST at Clean Technologies (Renewable Energy). Prior to MNIT, she worked as Assistant Professor in Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department at NIT Delhi and as Project Engineer in Solar Water Pumping Division at National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE), Gurugram. She is actively involved in the research fields including Solar Photovoltaic Systems, Solar Thermal Systems, Solar Thermoelectric Systems, and their various Hybrid Combinations for Power Generation and Space Conditioning, Modeling & Optimization of Energy Systems, Batteries, Fuel Cells, Building Integrated Photovoltaic & Thermoelectric Systems and Radiative Cooling Systems. She has published more than 45 research papers, and 5 book chapters. She has also presented her research work in national and international conferences in India as well. She is the member of IEEE (USA) society, The Institution of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), The Institution of Engineers India (IEI) & Global Women’s Network for the Energy Transition (GWNET) and the life member of Soft Computing Research Society & Solar Energy Society of India (SESI), and Advisory Board Member of Renewable Energy Society of India (RESI).
